There is over 385ha of terrain to explore across four chairlifts and four conveyor lifts with ample car parking on the mountain and a bus service that runs from town. The Remarkables boasts modern facilities including a café, restaurant, and two bars. Coronet Peak
Coronet Peak was the first commercial ski field to open in New Zealand back in 1947 and is situated a 25-minute drive from Queenstown’s CBD. With three chairlifts, one T-Bar, four surface lifts and 280ha of terrain, Coronet Peak is known for its wide-open slopes and is the home of night skiing. Treble Cone
Treble Cone is the largest ski field in the South Island, situated 35 minutes from Wānaka and 90 minutes drive from Queenstown. Treble Cone is famous for its off-piste terrain and 700m of vertical, which is the longest of all ski fields in the Southern-Lakes District. Treble Cone is popular amongst advanced and expert riders for its steep and challenging terrain, with plenty of natural half pipes to play with. The longest run is 4km and the ski field has a summit elevation of 2088 metres.
